Warsaw

Warsaw (in Polish: Warszawa) is the capital and largest city of Poland since 1596. It is also the seat of the President of the Republic, the Parliament and the rest of the central authorities. It has a population of 1,745,000 inhabitants2 (in 2014), which makes it the seventh most populous city in the European Union, with some 3,101,000 inhabitants in its metropolitan area.
