Wroclaw is a city with the status of a district (or urban district) located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in southwestern Poland, along the Oder River and between the Trzebnica and Sudeten Hills. In Wroclaw, two important trade routes converged: Via Regia and Amber Road.
