We’ll learn about how the Polish craft beer revolution is becoming a craft beer renaissance. We’ll also talk about the history of brewing in Europe, and just how important beer has always been. Where does beer come from? What separates the different styles of beer, and why are there so many different names?
Poland, and Europe, has a long history of beer brewing. As we drink we’ll talk about how important this has been to the history of the country and especially our city. We’ll also try a historical beer that’s important to our region, how it’s made, and why it’s survived.
We’ll visit 5 local tap-houses in Wrocław, drink 5 different Polish craft beers, and will only drink what is fresh from the tap. Later on we’ll also have a tasting plate of meats, cheeses, bread, and condiments that come from straight from the local farms of Lower Silesia.
