Opis

Our tour starts at the Nicolaus Copernicus Monument on the Krakowskie  Przedmieście Street, in the heart of the historic center of Warsaw.  During our 2.45 hour walk we will visit the iconic places such as:  Czapski Palace home to the most brilliant Polish composer Frederic  Chopin,  the University of Warsaw and Presidential Palace. We continue  to the Castle Square with the column of King Sigismund III. You will  admire the Royal Castle dating back to the 14th century, which has been  the residence of Polish kings, then of the president and then the seat  of parliament. Later on we move to the Old Town of Warsaw, the charming  district full of colorful tenement houses and the unique atmosphere of  its narrow streets.  We visit the cathedral, which houses the tombs of  the medieval Mazovian princes and the last king of Poland. We discover  the Old Town Square one of the most charming squares in Warsaw with a  statue of the Warsaw Mermaid. The tour
concludes in the vicinity of the former Warsaw Ghetto, where we talk  about the glory and tragedy of the Warsaw Uprising, admiring the  Monument depicting a group of insurgents in battle, and another faction  retreating into the sewers.
