Overview
We will meet at the Theaterplatz in Dresden, right next to the iconic Semper Opera House. From there, we set off along the scenic Elbe Valley road, enjoying picturesque landscapes on our way to Meissen.
Our first stop will be the renowned Meissen Porcelain Manufactory, where entry to the showroom and a live presentation of the porcelain-making process are included. Here you will discover how master craftsmen transform delicate materials into works of art that have brought Meissen worldwide fame for centuries.
After the factory visit, we continue into the historic center of Meissen. Strolling through its medieval streets, we will climb the hill crowned by the impressive Albrechtsburg Castle and the Meissen Cathedral, both offering stunning views over the Elbe Valley.
Finally, after a short time at leisure to enjoy the town at your own pace, we will return to Dresden. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours and concludes back at the Theaterplatz.
